Air inside homes, offices, schools and other buildings can be more polluted than outdoor air. Most people spend 90% of their time indoors. Indoor air quality plays a greater role in the health of people who spend most of their time indoors: the very young, the elderly and those who are chronically ill. Heating, cooling and ventilation systems are common sources of bacterial growth.

The Micro Inspector Total Microbe Test can be used to screen for potentially dangerous biological contamination inside your home or office.

There are 2 ways to test. One test method is to remove an air filter from it's circulation source (air conditioner, etc.), rinse water through it into a catch container and then sample that water. The second method is to sample air ducts for bacterial presence. Using our Dry Surface Sampler, pour rinse solution onto sponge, wipe sample "zone" inside air duct, place sponge back into it's container, pour remaining solution into container, shake and pour contents into Micro Inspector sample cup. Run test.
